God Bless America

GOD BLESS AMERICA

Our country is in dire need as we look around at our surroundings, episodes and magnitudes of atrocities and awakening racial tensions that has everyone on the lookout for the next trauma on the horizon. It is hardly purposed for this nation, or other nations, to suffer hardships and to be persecuted for what they believe in. Our Father God is the judge and He has the gavel and he will make the final decision of who shall come to heaven or not.

As Christians, we must amplify God’s love for all men (mankind) by simply walking and talking upright. God is depending on us as Christians, to showcase his love for every race, creed and religion. God loves all of the nations in the world. We, as Christians, tend to forget that God created the entire world. Therefore, we must be mindful that God’s eyes are on other nations besides America. However, God does have a particular word for America.

Our heavenly Father wants to bless this nation the way He always has. God blesses all nations, but when he gives a nation a capital opposed to other nations, in this respect, God wants America to exemplify excellence, quality, moral standards and beliefs, to gravitate other countries, to model our example. God has made this nation a capital as well as other nations.

In God’s eyes there is no supreme nation. All nations are one to him, but this nation, America, has been a surplus to many people in it and other nations. God will continue to smile and bless America as long it remembers the first petitions that were sent forth to heaven in songs and writings on banners, so many years ago. Every nation has a banner or flag with an emblem to represent their beliefs. Many nations look upon these flags, or banners, and take it for granted as a piece of cloth attached to a pole, but God looks at the heart and depth in how it was originally created and petitioned to him so long ago.

God in heaven reads all ensigns, flags and banners that are displayed for nations, churches, governments, corporations and even the petitions we have in our own hearts. Our heavenly Father loves to read our petitions, or banners. Yes beloved, as children of God, we all have petitions in our hearts that we want God to fulfill. God is eager to grant you all the petitions that are in your hearts, by Jesus Christ. It is His way and His nature to bless a nation and its people.

When you become born-again, all things become new. Behold, all old things are passed away. God then puts these petitions in our hearts when we become new creatures in Christ Jesus. This is all so wonderful and spiritual. You must believe it!

Petition is defined as an earnest request; a formal written request made to an authority. God in heaven is Omnipotent and Sovereign. He is the epitome of all authority! What a marvelous thing for God to put beautiful petitions in our hearts when we are born-again, only to fulfill our heart’s desire that God created for our satisfaction and good pleasures for the glory of God. God placed petitions in man’s heart, in this country, America, many years ago and they then put them on banners, like the American flag, and in songs like, ‘My Country ‘Tis of Thee.’ This nation and other nations must turn to look at the original purpose and claim to where we first approached God with our humble request for our lives and our nations. God will not regard sin in a nation. Neither will he look at it. God in heaven sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to be the propitiation for our sins. You must believe it!

We must repent as a nation, as a people, for the sins we have committed toward God and this nation, America, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Then God will hear the personal petitions in our hearts for this nation. We must stand and look at our flag once again with a humble and repentant heart for the sins of America and our own. Then once again we can look toward heaven with brazen faces, repentant and humble hearts and petition banners to our God. In return, God will smile as he reads our petitions on our hearts and on our banners (flags), that says ‘God Bless America’!

“Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions” (PSALM 24:4-5).

A PRAYER FOR AMERICA

“O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

2 Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

3 Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

4 Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

5 That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.

6 God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

8 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

9 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

10 Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

10 Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.”

(PSALM 60)

Glory be to God,

Helen Trower
