I REMEMBER NOT...
There are often too many times we as the body of Christ are tormented by our sins past or present. If you are a born-again Christian you should never be tormented by your sins. We as Christians are convicted by the Holy Spirit of God in heaven. It is the Holy Spirit that causes us to see the sin(s) we have done. The Holy Spirit convicts us (causes us to see) what type or manner of sins we have committed. This is a marvelous thing from our heavenly Father God!
God causes you, His children, to see their sins so they may feel ashamed in their own eyes so they can repent (have a change of heart and mind) to turn away from their sins. Once you see what you have done then you will repent to God and the blood of Jesus will wash away all of your sins. Therefore, you should never remember that sin any longer because of the blood of Jesus that cleansed it. However, our heavenly Father doesn’t remember your sins any longer. It is as far as from the east to the west where God is concerned. That’s the distance in God’s remembrance of our repented sins. If God doesn’t remember our sins, nor should we. God promised us with our repentance and being ever so sorrowful for our sins that He causes us to see that He will cleanse our sins by the blood of the lamb (his Son Jesus Christ).
Now you can have a wonderful, productive life in Christ Jesus. All of this is done by faith only. God tells us in His word that the just shall live by faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him. You are children of the most high God in heaven. He loves you so much that He gave His only son to be with you. God absolutely adores and loves you. All of your sins are forgiven because of the blood of the lamb Jesus Christ. I remember not…. Amen.
“For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us” (PSALM 103: 11-12)
“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more”(HEBREWS 8:12)
