IT'S ABOUT TIME

Your time is very precious indeed. You do not have a minute to waste or spare. Your heavenly Father is watching you. He wants you to be accountable for every moment that you’re here on earth. Your heavenly Father has given you a time table to complete the good works that He has ordained you to do. Many times you think that you have all the time in the world to complete or fulfill a goal or an ambition. Not so, beloved. Our heavenly Father has given us all an appointed time to fulfill God’s good pleasures in us.

You know that there are dreams, ambitions, and desires in your heart. God in heaven has put them in all men (mankind). There are times we are ambivalent about the most important aspects of our mature lives, fulfilling the will of God. We must not become accustomed to taking for granted that our lives belong only to ourselves. If you are a Christian, a born-again believer of Jesus Christ, beloved, your life does not belong to you any longer. This inconclusiveness about your life is truly a matter that needs to be viewed and examined closely with the eyes of a redeemed Christian. You were bought with a price when you became redeemed. God did not pay silver or gold or a great deal of money for our ransom. We were bought by the precious blood of the lamb of God (Jesus Christ). Therefore, our lives do not belong to us any longer. Take this in all consideration redeeming the time that you have here on earth and being accountable and always walking circumspectly (caution) before all men exemplifying a wholesome Christian life. You are the light of the world and God’s dear precious children.

Always being mindful of this very thing that the Christ in you and the hope of glory always having a good conscious of the God you serve and having a healthy recollect of being the children of light. We are to always be mindful and cognizant of our lifestyles and social graces in our mannerisms, etiquettes, and deportments. It is vital that we as born-again believers do not cavalierly walk by jesting (harsh joking) with others but always being thankful in all situations and not mocking, light-hearted, or making comments in areas that should be captivated, examined and perused.

If there are circumstances in our lives that occur and we are astonished or bewildered we are never to joke about it or make a puppet show openly about our unattempted or quitting the race that’s set before us. There are many Christians that feel that life has given them a terrible portion, therefore they become resentful and begrudged toward God in heaven and eventually this bitterness will be displayed among their fellowman. Making light-hearted jokes, comedy acts, is displaying your frustrations toward your own circumstances and others and God. When you do this type of rhetoric in the church as a night out or for laughs, you are mocking the most-high God directly in His face. Creating a show for gain by mocking the unsuccess of others’ livelihoods is wrong and detrimental to you and your Christian brothers.

Beloved, always give thanks to God in every situation. It is the will of God! You won’t always understand the good and the bad things in your life or others, but when you give thanks to God anyhow this shows Him that you are a mature developed Christian in Christ Jesus and that you do not only serve Him in the good times but also in the bad times.

God is omnipotent at all times good and bad. He dwells in heaven and He still sits on His throne. It is God that put His will in man and the just shall walk by faith and not by sight. Therefore, instead of mocking and having comedy shows in our churches and making light and harsh jokes about our unsuccessful Chrisitan lives, let us all walk as in redeeming the time toward all men and being lights in showing the world the way to Christ. Stop murmuring about your life and jesting and mocking others’ failures for gain or entertainment, whether it is in our churches or in our homes. Always be good little children of God, and let your lights shine to the world because it’s about time. Amen.

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”(I PETER: 1:18 - 19)

“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;” (EPHESIANS 5:1).

“Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks” (EPHESIANS 5:4).

“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (EPHESIANS 5:15-16).

Glory Be To God,
